MAC Fluidline Brow Gel Creme in Dirty Blonde, Php1,100 So anyway, I settled on the Gel Brow Creme because it’s a medium I haven’t explored before and was quite excited to try. The second most important thing about the Gel Brow Creme, aside from the gel creme itself) is the brush to apply it with. This weekend I treated myself to a MAC makeover and the SA used Eye Brows Crayon in Lingering on me. What a gorgeous color! I tried to use it the time I was blonde, but I think it would suits better to light colored redhead. This is a great, easy every day eye brow pencil. About reviewer (632 reviews) Age 30-35. Mac fluidline brow gel cream is an amazing bro cream from Mac which gives definition and Precision to the eyebrows. It is available for she is reduced from and since I have black hair I got myself a deep dark brunette shade which is a lovely shade of dark brown perfect for darker eyebrows. It has a very nice creamy formula which glides and blends wonderfully into your eyebrows, given you very.
I was beyond thrilled when I learned MAC was launching a collection specially and specifically for brows. If you’ve been around this blog for long, you probably know me and my brow-session. Needless to say, when MAC brings out something like this, I’m hopelessly hook-line-sinker.
I had every intention of getting the two new items from the collection, the Veluxe Brow pencil and the Gel Brow Creme. However, upon trying and swatching both, I felt like I’m better off restocking on my MAC Lingering than the Veluxe Pencil because the latter was too pigmented and quite hard to control (it’s creamy and powdery). I still haven’t made up my mind about it, I’m still waiting to be swayed (eep!).

So anyway, I settled on the Gel Brow Creme because it’s a medium I haven’t explored before and was quite excited to try.
The second most important thing about the Gel Brow Creme, aside from the gel creme itself) is the brush to apply it with. MAC included the 208 brush in the collection to use with it but I was feeling kuripot and I think I’ll try my brow brushes first and see how they fare. I found a synthetic angled brow brush to do the job quite well.
But of course, the most important thing is the product itself. To be honest, it took me a couple of tries before finally getting satisfied with the result. The problem is that it istoo smooth (it glides right across the brows so a steady hand is a must), too pigmented (mistakes are quite obvious) and it sets (so you have to be quick and accurate). These aren’t necessarily bad, I’m sure these are the very things I’d like for any product to be. It was just a matter of getting used to.
Finally, I got it. What I do is use a pencil to draw the shape and fill it in with the gel! There’s no need to run through the same spot twice coz it’s pigmented enough to cover and block out the area.
Here I used my Tony Moly Lovely Eyebrow Pencil to draw an outline of my eyebrow shape, and then using the cheapy-but-goody Marionnaud dual ended eyebrow brush, filled in the area with the Gel Brow Creme. A little goes a long way, so be mindful of the amount of product you get in your brush.
I heart this brow product, it gives me sharp and polished brows all day! Aside from filling in my brows completely, this lasts ridiculously long, coats the brow hair effectively enough not to require a mascara and would not budge even if I perspire or oil up. That’s amazing by any brow standards! If you’re in for some serious brow definition, GET THIS. However, this requires a bit too much effort (for me, anyway) and it looks like you did take that aforementioned effort, so I use this for special, dressy and/or formal situations. But I’m still experimenting as to how to use this casually just cause it’s too fun to use! I’ll keep you posted on that. xx
This Tom Ford was the last brow pencil I wanted to try. I recently made a post with many other blonde brow shades. This Tom Ford is not quite as good as I was hoping. I was hoping for a touch more soft waxy pencil but it’s fairly dry and hard like the others I reviewed previously. The color is lighter for a blonde like I prefer, but because of the hardness of the pencil I’m not 100% behind it. It has a hexagonal shape, and due to the hardness of the pencil lasts a long time on. It’s not as hard as the Cle de Peau, but not as soft and waxy as the MAC or the Hourglass. It’s in between. This has a sharpener built in by the spoolie. You twist it out and can sharpen the edge to get a finer line.
Honestly for the high prices they all cost I still love the MAC Impeccable Brow Pencil the most. Sadly it’s discontinued which is what started the search for a new brow pencil for me. I love the color of the Cle de Peau but hate the hardness, the Charlotte Tilbury is also too hard and too cool in color, the Hourglass is a great softer texture and overall this would win this competition. However, the color is too dark for a blonde it’s more of a dirty blonde shade. I’ll use them up but the search goes on to replace my discontinued MAC pencil. I do like the color of the Maybelline blonde brow pencil but it’s a touch too hard and pulls my hairs out while I’m applying it. They all do this to some degree, but the Maybelline is worse.
